Evan Snyder

BM Voice & Composition

Evan Snyder is known as a composer, a tenor, a music theorist, a librettist, an occasional frisbee player, and a lover of board games, card games, (and video games, when time allows). His performing credits date back to his undergraduate at Michigan State University, where he studied with Richard Fracker, and include soloist appearances with the Seagle Festival, Shreveport Opera, Opera MODO, and more, as well as choral performance with the MSU Chorale, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. As a composer, Evan focuses on exploring new ways of storytelling through music and has had works commissioned by such singers as Tamara Wilson, John Riesen, and Eric Ferring, and performed by such organizations as Fort Worth Opera, Opera MODO, Opera Las Vegas, ConTempus Initiative, Fifth House Ensemble, and many more.
