Blake Rosser is a graduate assistant in Choral Conducting at Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL where he studies with Dr. Brian J. Winnie. His research focuses on finding ease and authenticity in all vocal qualities, and the connection of the conductor’s gesture to the voice through somatics. Blake holds a Bachelor of Music degree in education from Oakland University where he studied under the baton of Dr. Michael Mitchell and Dr. Gregory Cunningham. In addition to conducting, Blake enjoys composing for the voice and singing with the Constellation Men’s Ensemble.
